"LOVED the "That's what She Said" event in Naperville 2024! The speakers were well chosen. One of my favorites was Kim Wells - she had me laughing and crying at the same time! What a great speaker! I so enjoyed myself and am looking forward to next year's!" Miriam Campbell 5-26-2024
"That's What She Said" was a wonderful event in Naperville. Each woman shared something about their life. However, when Kim Wells spoke, I felt I was present at each aspect of her life. Kim's descriptions of events in her life were mesmerizing. Her voice welcomed you to share the journey into her life. Her words aroused different emotions. Kim could take you to the brink of tears but then spin you around and make you laugh. She is a natural born storyteller.. You never lose interest in what she is saying. I found myself wanting to continue the journey when she had finished. Thank you Kim for sharing. Brenda Gray 5-28-2024
In my opinion, good public speakers are not created, they are born. Kim Wells is one of those public speakers that I refer to. She is a natural speaker, in that she can make you feel what she feels, and she can make you see what she sees. Her words just seem to naturally flow, while connecting to each member of her audience. On some level, she shares emotions that we can all relate to. Listening to Kim speak is a treat and a learning experience. Rose Mutchler 6-13-2024
You and your story were engaging, powerful, and inspiring, and you had me laughing and crying at the same time. Amanda Preis 6-20-2024
As a self-employed business woman of 2 businesses, I have attended MANY training sessions and coaching events. A common thread among them is learning how to walk your own path... to NOT try to mold yourself to someone else's vision, but to recognize that who you are, and what you have to offer might be EXACTLY what someone else needs in order to relate, grow, and improve their well-being. Kim Wells' talk is a GREAT example and REMINDER of just that: when we worry about, and try, to fit in, it just doesn't work if it is not inherently who we are. But, when we recognize and stay TRUE to our beliefs, our interests, and our goals, we will find joy in our lives, even amongst the ups and downs LIFE throws at us. Kim brings her point to life beautifully, illustrating this with humor and wit, making it completely relatable no matter the differences in your own life. Listening to her speak was not only a great reminder, but also a great "lift" to my day! |

"I had the pleasure of attending That's What She Said in Naperville on April 13th. One presenter, Kim Wells, stood out from the rest with her ability to engage the audience. Kim shared very personal stories about her life and had the audience laughing and crying. She has the unique capability of making you feel like she is talking directly to you as an individual, rather than a large group of attendees. Kim's passion for people in her life and those she has yet to meet is evident and I would encourage anyone to attend any speaking engagement that she is involved with. You will not be disappointed!" I had the occasion to hear Kim speak at the Naperville That’s What She Said speaking event. To say I was blown away would be accurate! Kim held the crowd on the edge of their seats and made them laugh while making them think - a talent that is amazing to watch. I can’t wait to see her again! Rosalind Russell 5-28-2024
I loved the title, "That's what she said" and enjoyed the event so much more. Public speaking is a challenge, imagine the anticipation period for each participant. Sitting on stage waiting, watching the audience watch you and your peers as you sit and wait for the presentation time to arrive. Under the stage lights that beamed so bright you'd notice the sweat on one's brow. Kim did not disappoint. It was truly amazing as she sat through the "anticipation "period then executed a well thought out presentation that was funny and connected with the audience. Bravo Kim, bravo.
